Marin Island on left, red boat in The Branch, Small Point Harbor Phippsburg Maine. Marin Island was once called Webber Island. The name was changed after the famous painter, John Marin lived there in the summer. The island is located across the gut from Alliquippa, also known as Ancient Augusta. This photo was taken on a somber day in November. The image was used for the Phippsburg Town calendar several years ago.
