Deadly Purple Nightshade is an indigenous vine in the same family as tomatoes and potatoes. It is poisonous. It has beautiful red berries after the flowers pass. It can be a very annoying weed in cultivated gardens.

Quaking Aspens, populus tremuloides, Snowmass, Colorado. We have these same aspens in Maine, but not this red soil.
