  • Yellow Jacket wasp on leaf of Canadian Mayflower. I was photographing an other subject when this wasp land nearly in my face. It was cleaning itself, as can be seen by hind leg up over its back. Normally, I would avoid these creatures as they deliver a very painful sting.
